ABOUT SHANNON

Shannon Okey runs her own publishing venture focusing on both digital and print publications, has written 10+ major publisher books about fiber arts and most recently served as editor in chief of UK-based print knitting magazine Yarn Forward.

She owns Knitgrrl Studio, a teaching space and shop in Lakewood, Ohio. This network is the online complement to the offline teaching space.

Shannon has taught all over the US and Canada. In fact, she even once taught spinning on a cruise ship that was rocking from side to side!
